Playing very good football for most of the match, our Men’s National Team drew 2-2 away against Bulgaria.
Our team fell behind twice but managed to equalize each time, even creating chances to score more goals.
Nikolas Koutsakos, on his debut with the National Team, scored the first equalizer in the 42nd minute after Kolev had given Bulgaria the lead in the 27th. Laifis then headed in the second equalizer in the 86th minute, following Kolev’s second goal from the penalty spot in the same minute.
In addition to Koutsakos, Andreas Siikkis and Antonio Foti also made their first appearances with the National Team.

Our National Team made seven substitutions, in line with the new regulation that allows an additional change when a player is forced off due to a head injury, which was the case with Koutsakos. Fortunately, his injury is not a cause for concern.
